After the Bangkok Prison was relocated out of town, its former location was turned into a Rommaneenat Park, complete with a basketball court and an old style gym. Next to the Corrections Museum for a look at old Thailand Law Enforcement punishments.

Santichaiprakarn Park is a small town park, located along the banks of the Chao Phraya River offering great views of the Rama 8 Bridge. Jogging, aerobics, Chinese martial arts and even fishing all take place here. Closes 9 pm.
Benchasiri Park is a green garden on Sukhumvit Road, next door to the Emporium shopping complex, good for jogging, walking, plus a few interesting sculptures to look at. Closes 9 pm.

Bang Rak Noi Agritourism is an old Durian Orchard where you can see a preserved durian orchard over a hundred years old, see various cultivars of durians including Mon Thong, Kan Yao, Chani, Kop etc. Advance contact is required, 09.00 - 17.00.

Chatuchak park is one of the oldest public parks in Bangkok, very near to the famous weekend market and the Chatuchak MRT and Morchit BTS. Nice and green leafy jogging route with a lake and clock tower, great for a walk, or relaxing. Closes 9 pm.

Queen Sirikit Park is part of the larger Chatuchak Park with a botanical garden where more than 2,000 species of local and foreign plants are contained. Also has a large lake and woods. Mo Chit BTS station/Chatuchak Park MRT station. Closes 8 pm.
